Dusk to Dawn

When Mother Nature sends out a yawn
In the forest, a rustle, a fawn

As bats awake at the last rays of intense light
The moon takes her place in the midst of the night

She jumps the clouds higher, higher rising in the sky
Ascending through the silver fairies of night as they fly

The fairies of night fly around and around
Illuminating their auras against what they surround

Bringing dawn along with them
And an aroused sun shining bright like a gem

As Mother Nature catches her breath
She stops at the viewing of the glorious light

A light that even stops death
One that had great might

As the birds start to chirp at the last rays of gentle white
The sun takes his place and becomes the center of the light
